Sky Business and SSE Enterprise Telecoms are partnering to increase both companies reach to enterprise customers. The tie up combines SSE’s 13,700km private telecoms network and 15 data centres with Sky’s data network. Sky will provide SSE with last mile and backhaul services.

The partnership will enable SSE to reach 96% of the UK’s business postcodes with a new high-capacity Ethernet solution. SSE has enjoyed high-growth in its enterprise offering, experiencing an 186% increase in Ethernet orders since 2015. The partnership will enable Sky access to SSE’s reseller network and dedicated support teams.

SSE Enterprise has also partnered with Three UK to help develop its networks in readiness for 5G rollout.
