It’s been a busy few months at Adaptiv Networks. The company has acquired QoE vendor LiveQoS and partnered with TCG to widen its offering into the SME market.
LiveQoS added internet acceleration technology for service-specific QoS/QoE and edgeless SD-WAN to Adaptiv’s cloud-managed SD-WAN solution. Its technology enables demanding applications that require high-quality, low-variability latency and bandwidth to deliver the performance and experience users expect from SaaS providers, computer and networking OEMs, and enterprises.
The acquisition also brought with it a clutch of patents, which added to Adaptiv’s own create a 20 patent portfolio.
Adaptiv provides SD-WANs for high availability, business-critical application traffic for businesses that need secure, lower-cost, higher-performance and more reliable cloud networks for their voice, data and video communications. It has 50 staff and is based in Gatineau, Canada. Adaptiv operates a 100% channel go-to-market strategy and provides training and marketing content to help agents communicate the value of SD-WAN to their customers. It currently has more than 250 customers across 2,500 sites deployed through 25 partners across North America.
To aid further expansion it has now partnered with Telecom Consulting Group (TCG), which is one of the largest master agencies in the US. TCG has 4,000 agents globally and 18 channel managers across the US. It offers more than 150 different carrier options for its agents to sell, including COAX cable, Metro Ethernet, Hosted VoIP, and numerous Cloud Services. Adaptiv helps TCG strengthen its offering for the SME market.
“Adaptiv Networks is a solid fit for the SME market, because the solution is delivered as a simple and frictionless managed service with 24/7 support,” commented Dan Pirigyi, Partner at TCG Telecom Group.
“SD-WAN is not a one-size-fits-all,” explained Bernard Breton, CEO of Adaptiv Networks. “Most solutions are too costly and too complex for smaller businesses who have limited IT resources. We focus on delivering simplicity, agility, and cost-effectiveness for businesses of any size.”
