Squire Technologies and Cerillion are partnering to simplify charging across hybrid networks, building on a successful joint implementation for Sure in the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man.
As service providers converge their networks to offer ubiquitous connectivity and enhanced QoS to customers, it’s vital they’re also able to charge convergently – across services and payment types. This enables CSPs to optimise returns from their network estate and allows them to create convergent products for both consumers and corporate customers.
“Consumers expect to be able to manage all their services – fixed and mobile; prepaid and postpaid; voice and data – on a single account with the flexibility to control their spending and manage their balances,” commented Sanjeev Verma, CEO, Squire Technologies. “Cerillion’s CCS provides all this flexibility in a 3GPP standards-based charging system making it a perfect fit with our interworking function which hides the complexity of hybrid networks.”
UK-based Squire Technologies specialises in providing core network signalling products to operators in the mobile, fixed and virtual space. Its SVI-IWF Interworking Function is being combined with Cerillion’s Convergent Charging System (CCS) and Enterprise Product Catalogue to create a solution that enables CSPs to simplify their offering to businesses and consumers in order to optimise their commercial potential.
