Megafon plugs its leaks thanks to Mobileum

MegaFon is using Mobileum’s revenue assurance platform RAID to plug revenue leaks, maximise profits and control business risks as it rolls out LTE Advanced and 5G networks.
Megafon is using RAID’s  out-of-the-box functionality, AI and machine learning capabilities to detect, address and resolve risks faster – delivering end-to-end revenue assurance, fraud management and business assurance.
“As part of our company-wide mission to become a digital market leader, we needed to make sure that we had a revenue assurance platform that supported our growth ambitions,” explained Sergey Khrenov, Chief of Fraud Prevention and Loss of Income, from MegaFon. “Our decision to deploy the RAID solution was based on Mobileum’s market leadership in the revenue assurance space and the solution’s out-of-the-box functionality, with the flexibility and scalability to future-proof our network investments and new digital services.”
RAID is part of US analytics vendor Mobileum’s Active Intelligence platform, which it acquired when it bought WeDo Technologies in August 2019. The platform helps service providers increase roaming revenues, improve network security, minimize fraud and risk, and optimize business operations.
Rui Paiva, CEO of Mobileum’s Revenue Assurance & Fraud Management Business Unit commented: “We’re proud that MegaFon selected our solution to take charge of its revenue assurance needs as it transforms into a digital service provider. IoT and 5G services will put legacy revenue assurance systems under pressure to detect and respond to constantly evolving revenue leakage challenges in a timely manner. This new deployment of RAID is a result of our ongoing investment in our platform, adding machine learning and AI capabilities that will future proof our customers’ revenue assurance needs.”
