Slovakian operator SWAN Mobile, which trades under the brand 4ka, has announced it has selected Cerillion’s Convergent Charging System (CCS) to support its 5G services.
4ka’s 5G services will be initially available in the Slovakian capital, Bratislava, but it will extend its services to regional cities by the end of 2021. It provides large data packages for affordable prices using 4G and is now rolling out 5G at no extra cost to subscribers.
“Since our 4G launch in 2015, Cerillion has been a close partner of SWAN Mobile, helping us to grow our business as a new entrant within the Slovakian mobile market,” said Juraj Ondriš, CEO, SWAN Mobile. He went on to say that the Cerillion CCS has made it easy for the company to rollout 5G.
“SWAN Mobile’s approach of offering 5G services without charging a premium to its customers should be a big boost for Slovakian consumers and businesses alike,” noted Louis Hall, CEO, Cerillion. “The introduction of 5G marks the beginning of another chapter in our relationship [with SWAN Mobile] and we’re delighted to be helping to expand its offerings and continue its growth.”
