Neos Networks – formerly SSE Enterprise Telecoms – was spun out from its parent company SSE Group in March 2021, following additional investment from Infracapital. It has a 24,000 kilometre fibre network across the UK and offers WAN, Ethernet, Optical and Dark Fibre to its wholesale, government and enterprise customers.

As part of the re-organisation of its business, Neos Networks decided to refresh its BSS to support its future growth strategy, and after a competitive selection process chose Cerillion as its new BSS partner. The deal was closed in September 2020 and is just being announced.

The Cerillion platform allows us to hit the ground running with an out-of-the-box solution and we’ve been pleased with how easy it’s been to work with Cerillion so far.

Chris Akathiotis, CTIO Neos Networks

Chris Akathiotis, CTIO at Neos Networks, said that his company’s selection of a BSS vendor was critical to its plans, and that they needed a partner that had “the flexibility and functional headroom to underpin future growth”.

Announcing the implementation, Louis Hall, CEO of Cerillion, commented that his company had a long history of supporting complex B2B services and said he was “delighted” that Cerillion was able to bring that background and expertise to help Neos Networks.

“Following recent successes in our international markets, it’s great to pick up another prestigious client here in the UK, and we look forward to a long and successful partnership with Neos Networks.”
