Kcell picks TOMIA Wholesale Solutions

Adds support for campaign management, data analytics and roaming

Kcell has selected TOMIA to supply network optimisation services for its GSM and LTE 4G networks, as well as data analytics and campaign management systems.
Kcell serves 8 million customers in Kazakhstan with mobile voice telecommunications services, messaging services, value-added services and data transmission services. It operates under the Kcell brand for corporate and government subscribers and the Active brand for consumers.
Kcell has been using TOMIA’s network optimisation solutions since 2017. With this latest announcement it will use TOMIA’s services to modernise its wholesale operations and support roaming customers. The solutions will, for example, improve dynamic contact with travellers whilst abroad, enable the efficient segmentation of customers, and optimise Kcell’s campaigns. They will also optimise wholesaling of discounted IOT agreements and streamline the reconciliation and settlement processes.
TOMIA was formed from by the merger of Starhome Mach and Telarix. Its solutions now enable customers to manage a unified optimisation process across both roaming and interconnect. The company has over 500 employees worldwide, a presence in 30 countries and regional headquarters in the US, Israel, Luxembourg and India. TOMIA serves over 400 operators worldwide.
