Fastweb upgrades BSS

Upgrades to Netcracker Digital BSS and extends support and maintenance to support its network expansion ambitions

Fastweb, part of the Swisscom Group, has 2.7 million wireline customers and 1.9 million mobile customers in Italy, as well as a 50,500 kilometer national fiber optic network that passes 22 million customers. This will be expanded with 5G Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) technology so that its network is accessible by 16 million enterprises and consumers by 2025.

The company offers a wide range of fixed and mobile voice and data services to consumers and businesses – from start-ups to SMEs to large corporations and public sector organisations – including advanced telecommunication and ICT services, such as cloud computing, cybersecurity and unified communications.

To support these customers, Fastweb has now announced it is to upgrade to Netcracker Digital BSS and extend the use of Netcracker’s support and maintenance services.
