Mobileum acquires Niometrics to deepen its analytics portfolio

Expands its Active Intelligence Platform with technology to provide deeper network insights and a 360-degree view of the customer

Mobileum has enriched its Active Intelligence platform with the acquisition of Niometrics, a provider of network analytics and applied Machine Learning. This will enable Mobileum to deliver deeper network insights, a 360-degree view of the customer and enhanced data privacy controls. The two companies have already won contracts together and have experience integrating their products.

Mobileum’s Active Intelligence platform supports roaming, network operations, security, risk management and testing; while the Niometrics’ Deep Network Analytics platform (DNA), includes real-time data analytics, AI and machine learning algorithms, as well as Deep Packet Inspection (DPI) capabilities. The technology acquired from Niometrics will help Mobileum support customer discovery and engagement, as well as providing experience capabilities to help CSPs identify new revenue streams and improve the customer experience.

“The addition of Niometrics to Mobileum’s portfolio further reinforces our strategy to provide telecom operators with an end-to-end analytics engine that not only strengthens their network and interconnection and assures their business, but also provides them with the network intelligence required to grow revenues and improve customer experience as they rollout 5G and evolve their business,” commented Mobileum’s CEO, Bobby Srinivasan. “Niometrics’ proven technology and respected team of industry experts make this acquisition a perfect fit to accelerate Mobileum’s growth strategy,” he added.
