Hong Kong’s IPification launches in France

Asian mobile authentication firm rolls out support in France as it focuses on expanding market share in Europe.

Mobile authentication firm IPification, which enables secure, passwordless, zero-tap compatible mobile user authentication, registration, transaction approval and fraud prevention solutions, is expanding its European presence by launching in France. The company’s products support any mobile application by verifying the device, SIM & phone number via its patented technology

IPification helps any mobile app developer streamline their onboarding process by implementing seamless yet bank-grade secure mobile authentication. By removing the friction from sign-up and sign-in processes, the firm helps financial service companies and telcos reduce the effort of onboarding – speeding customer acquisition and increasing retention and engagement rates.

Stefan Kostic, CEO IPification

Stefan Kostic, CEO of IPification commented: “Now our solutions are live in France, I’m looking forward to onboarding service providers, a few of which are in the final stages of implementing our one-click mobile authentication and user verification solutions.”

The company currently operates in 20 markets globally. Customers include: ABA Bank, GBG, T-Mobile Montenegro, 3HongKong, Axiata Digital, Swisscom, Indosat and Ooredoo. The firm is based in Hong Kong but has a subsidiary in Switzerland, and representatives in the US, UK, Serbia, Russia, Bosnia, Brazil, India, Vietnam and Pakistan.

Omnisperience’s View

IPification offers technology that benefits CSPs in three ways. Firstly they can use it to smooth their own onboarding processes and fraud prevention strategies. Additionally, they can offer this technology to their customers as part of a wider solution of connectivity and IT services. And finally, they could offer authentication and fraud prevention as-a-service to their B2B customers. As CSPs position for B2B2X opportunities, this type of technology could become part of a wider platform offer that supports developers and B2B customers with authentication, fraud prevention, billing, charging and customer relationship management.
