Andorra Telecom partners with Netcracker to bring advanced digital services to market

Netcracker Digital BSS/OSS will assist the operator rolling out advanced digital services in bot B2B and B2C markets

Andorra Telecom has announced it will be upgrading to Netcracker Digital BSS/OSS in order to increase its agility and to support the rollout of advanced digital services in both the B2C and B2B markets.

Jordi Natal, CEO Andorra Telecom

“We’ve had an extremely successful relationship with Netcracker for a number of years, so taking the solutions and services into the cloud and to a SaaS delivery model makes perfect sense for us,” said Jordi Nadal, CEO, Andorra Telecom. “As we look to future-proof our IT and lower costs, I’m confident that our ongoing partnership with Netcracker will result in continued progress in a number of critical areas.”

Sylvain Seignour, President, Netcracker

Sylvain Seignour, President, Netcracker said his company were happy to be working with Andorra Telecom who are a valued and long-term customer. He pointed out that his company’s Digital BSS/OSS would help Andorra Telecom to boost their agility through innovative practices and methodologies (such as Agile development and DevOps), reduced IT complexity, on-demand scaling, continuous upgradeability and deployment flexibility. Not only will this reduce Andorra Telecom’s costs but it will also allow the operator to monetise vital new revenue streams, he said.

Omnisperience’s View

This is yet another win for Netcracker in what has been a very strong year for them. What’s notable here is that while it is winning some of the biggest transformation deals in the market, it is also winning plenty of medium sized and smaller deals. This ability to scale from the biggest to the smallest operators and to bridge between B2C and B2B is somewhat unusual, with many vendors concentrating on one end of the size spectrum or the other, or on B2B or B2C but not necessarily on both. Netcracker’s ability to play at all levels puts it in a very strong position in both the BSS and OSS markets.
