Navisite snaps up Salesforce’s EightCloud

Boosts its portfolio by acquiring Salesforce’s advisory, implementation and managed services subsidiary

Managed cloud service provider Navisite has announced it’s boosting its enterprise application, data management and cloud services portfolio by acquiring Salesforce’s advisory, implementation and managed services company EightCloud.

EightCloud was founded in 2011 and has team members in the US, Mexico and India. It has pioneered managed services for Salesforce, adding advisory and implementation services in the high-tech, healthcare, higher education and state and local government markets, serving mid- and large-sized businesses, government agencies and non-profits.

Mark Clayman, CEO Navisite

Mark Clayman, CEO of Navisite, commenting on the acquisition said: “As our customers look to transform and adopt new digital strategies, customer data is a core part of that discussion. With the addition of EightCloud, we’ve added an exceptional team of Salesforce experts and proven methodologies to help our customers integrate, operationalise and manage Salesforce data across their businesses, from front-end customer touchpoints through back-end support services.”

Navisite itself is a combination of seven IT consulting and managed service providers — RDX, Navisite, clckwrk, ClearDB, Privo, Dickinson + Associates and Velocity Technology Solutions. It is headquartered in Andover, Massachusetts.
